Paulette Braithwaite, MPA, is President/CEO of “Simply Unique” a consulting firm located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Simply Unique, a Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in the Commonwealth of Virginia, was established in 1988 and offers courses in workforce development/job readiness and image enhancement.

Paulette Braithwaite is a professional business woman with 32 years of corporate and government experience. In 2007 she was instrumental in developing a new training course for the City of Virginia Beach ‘s Human Resources Department titled “How Your Image Impacts Customer Service and Your Personal Success”. She recently retired from the City of Virginia Beach with 32 years of exemplary public service. She is currently an Adjunct at Tidewater Community College teaching courses in its Workforce Development Department’s Job Skills Training Program.
Paulette graduated from Troy University in 2005 with a Master of Public Administration Degree and from Norfolk State University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. Paulette is a certified image consultant, an independent Mark Kay Beauty Consultant, a business education teacher, a certified paralegal, general mediator, and a former “Sears Models Club” Coordinator. Paulette is a 2002 graduate of the United Way of South Hampton Roads Project Inclusion. In 2003-2006, Paulette chaired Project Inclusion’s Youth Career Skills Workshop. Her professional affiliations include:
